Tis that time of year to shutdown the cabin for the winter. We clean up leaves, turn off the water, take all the food home, and winterize the boats. This year we also put in a nest thermostat ($30 on marketplace) and changed the oil on the blue honda (Nick). I was able to top off the lower end oil, and fog the pistons on all but the bottom piston on the pontoon, that one did not want to come out.
It is crazy how black the lower end oil was in the speed boat. Also, the tire we found for the sailboat (when the old one lost the bead) was full of water. I tried to get as much out as I could, but I am not sure it will servisable in the spring. We will see.
