Long time no update...

Basically still at the point where the drywall is up, but now the ceiling is textured and painted. Stopped out this morning and the plumbers were out finishing connecting pipes in the basement. Also, the pressure tank for the well and water heater are in.
Here are some pictures from Monday.

Drywall up

Haven't posted in a couple of days, I don't have any pictures at this point because Jen and I can't get out to house before it gets dark :( The drywall is all up now, today they will probably be mudding and taping.

Steve asked me yesterday if we wanted to put up a gutter above the sidewalk, running along the porch and then have the downspout hidden behind a porch column. 60 feet, $625. Doesn't seem to bad to me, considering the long drop into the pit from the porch if you fall...

Drywallers boombox

I liked the custom boombox that they brought to the site, it is pretty sweet. They also brought a microwave.

Drywall going up

Pretty amazing how fast the drywall is going up. They had finished the vaulted ceiling in about an house, plus there was another guy working on the basement steps. I wouldn't be surprised if they had it all up today.

Cute notes from Greg

This was a pretty good idea that Greg had to write some notes on the heat ducting, that we will never see again, but know that they are there.

Vapor Barrier in the garage

Steve told me the weekend that we insulated the garage that they were going to poly the garage, because you have to behind drywall... Of course after that he told me I had to poly the garage, otherwise it was going to cost me...

I can tell you that putting up poly is a huge pain the butt. But with the help of my folks, sister and wife we got the job done. Of course, I had to finish up this morning before work.
